Autodsys Releases AcceliCAD 2011

today released AcceliCAD 2011 with support for DWG 2010 and 2011 files as well
as many features to enhance user productivity and enjoyment. The sixth
major release of AcceliCAD, it adds significant enhancements and improvements
to nearly every aspect of operation.

Key enhancements in AcceliCAD 2011:
packages all related files
including xref's, fonts, and images into a zip file with notes that can be sent
to others via email
Select groups of objects for editing operations by specifying matching
properties such as layer, color, linetype, or lineweight, or specific types of
objects such as all polylines
Search any text objects in the drawing including TEXT, MTEXT, Attributes,
Dimensions, or Hyperlinks and replace any or all instances with new text as
well as zoom to the location
Dialog with point and click control of rectangular and polar arrays and
preview prior to placing
Select from different pre-defined workspace configurations or create your
own. Default configurations include 2D Drafting, 3D Basics, and 3D

Choose from bitmaps that are similar to AutoCAD 14-2002, AutoCAD 2004-2011 in
blue or green, or IntelliCAD 6.6 or later. Select the one that is most
pleasing or familiar to you.

Editing of proxy objects – custom objects created in Autodesk applications such
as Architecture, Civil, or Mechanical can be edited in AcceliCAD. This function
is limited to those objects that will display.
Reference editing of blocks and xrefs including dimming of non-selected objects
Custom Entity Display - used by third party applications such as AutoLINE to
extend the power of AcceliCAD.

Batch plotting interface allows the plotting of multiple drawings and layouts
in one step. Different paper sizes, scales, and pen settings can be applied to
each plot. Each batch plot set can be saved to a file for reuse the next time a
set of printouts is required.
System variable editor puts all of the drawing and system settings in one place
with tooltips and help strings to make it easier to understand each setting.

Entity information window that displays relevant information about an object
when the user places the cursor over it. This feature also works with ArchT
objects to display the object type, style, and size.

without looking at the keyboard.
AcceliCAD is based on the popular IntelliCAD software and contains all of its
standard features including DWG file support as well as support for industry
standard commands, menu files, script files, shape files, text fonts, hatch
patterns, linetypes, LISP programs, SDS/C++ programs, and VBA programs. It also
contains many advanced features that make it easier to create and edit DWG
files. AcceliCAD has a suggested retail price of $399.
